Ellen Horan Named Partner at Boulay

Ellen Horan, CFP®, CPA, was recently named a partner with Boulay Financial Advisors, LLC.

Ellen joined Boulay PLLP in 2011 and transitioned to Boulay Financial Advisors, LLC after five years of experience providing audit and accounting services. She currently assists clients with a variety of financial services including investment and money management, retirement planning, estate planning, income tax planning, and risk and debt management. Given her CPA background, she is heavily focused on evaluating the tax implications of all financial decisions. Ellen utilizes tools such as WealthNAV^TM to illustrate planning strategies and simplify the financial complexities of life. She is passionate about partnering with clients to define and achieve their financial goals, in turn assisting them in making better short- and long-term decisions.

Ellen has a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of St. Thomas. She is a Certified Public Accountant, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional, and is FINRA Series 66 Registered. Ellen is actively involved in the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Financial Planning Association. She is also a strong supporter for people with diabetes, advocating and volunteering for organizations focused on diabetes research, awareness and education.
