Boulay Welcomes New Director of Client Service Strategy

Jim Chapa

Boulay recently hired Jim Chapa, CPA, MBA as the new Director of Client Service Strategy. He joins Boulay with over 20 years of experience in accounting, finance, and business leadership.

As the Director of Client Service Strategy, Jim will serve, in partnership with Boulay’s Teams and Stakeholders, on initiatives to enhance the client experience and improve efficiencies. Prior to joining Boulay, Jim served in leadership roles within the retail, distribution, manufacturing, transportation, freight brokerage and public storage sectors. His expertise is in developing, implementing, and embedding financial controls, processes, and systems to optimize performance.

Jim holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from St. Cloud State University, as well as a Master in Business Administration degree from Metropolitan State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants.

In his free time, Jim serves as a church treasurer and enjoys reading and spending time with family.
