Boulay recently hired Michael Gonzalez as a new Tax Manager. He joins Boulay with nearly a decade of public accounting experience.
Michael primarily serves individual clients and collaborates with the Wealth and Estate & Trust teams to provide integrated solutions. His background includes extensive work with individual, partnership, and S corporation tax returns, as well as with audits, reviews, compilations, and personal financial statements. He has wide-ranging experience across industries such as manufacturing and distribution, healthcare, hospitality, and franchises. Before joining Boulay, Michael worked at three firms of various sizes, where he developed expertise in GAAP, business tax returns, and individual tax returns.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Ohio Wesleyan University, and he is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in both Ohio and Florida. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of CPAs (FICPA) and was part of the FICPA Leadership Academy in 2023.
In his free time, Michael enjoys attending sporting events, visiting the beach and playing soccer.
