Boulay PLLP is proud to announce that Michael Schaefer, CPA/ABV, CFE, was recently named a partner with the firm.
Michael joined Boulay in 2008. He specializes in providing audit and accounting services to both public and privately held clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, construction, SaaS companies, and employee benefit plans. He has a wide range of technical expertise to assist clients in accounting matters and internal controls. Michael is a Certified Fraud Examiner, assisting with various litigation and forensic accounting matters. He also possesses the Accredited in Business Valuation designation and provides fair market value and fair value assessments for businesses in multiple industries. Michael resides in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from North Dakota State University and is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Fraud Examiner, and is Accredited in Business Valuation. He is actively involved in the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Minnesota Association of Business Valuation Professionals, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the Twin Cities Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and the Rotary Club of Lafayette North in Louisiana.
