Susan Aspengren

Susan joined Boulay in 2022 and has over 20 years of experience in defined contribution plan administration and consulting with an emphasis on Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs). She provides design, implementation, administration, compliance testing, government and tax reporting and other consulting services for ESOP plans. She prepares and reviews ESOP financial statements, including the accounting and reconciliation of all plan assets. Susan also reviews and assists with processing of diversifications and distributions, prepares ESOP feasibility and repurchase studies and assists plan sponsors and corporate auditors with GAAP compliance. Prior to joining Boulay, she held leadership roles in several public accounting and retirement plan consulting firms. Throughout her career, Susan has enjoyed developing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with C-suite executives.
