Shawn M. Ruby
Shawn joined Boulay in 2003, became a manager in 2005, and was promoted to partner in 2013. He specializes in providing tax, business consulting, and accounting services to privately-held businesses and their owners. He provides consulting to clients in a variety of industries including manufacturing, distributing, real estate, professional service firms, microbreweries and other high-tech IT firms. Shawn provides business consulting to startup business entities, as well as business management consulting and accounting assistance. He assists businesses and individuals in tax planning strategies designed to minimize their income tax liability, and he provides periodic outsourcing giving business organizations trained individuals to assist with various accounting, financial, and tax needs on a flexible basis. Shawn also assists clients with their accounting software packages such as QuickBooks and other automated computer solutions.
In his free time, Shawn enjoys golfing, camping, fishing, hiking and spending time with his daughter.
