Scott Johnson
Scott rejoined Boulay in 2017 and has more than 15 years of public accounting experience. He began his career and spent more than ten years at Boulay before moving on to become co-chair of the tax department of a Minneapolis CPA firm. He then went on to spend several years with a national firm. Scott assists businesses with strategic planning and entity structuring, including acquisitions and dispositions of real estate. He has experience with commercial and residential real estate, REITS, real estate funds, developers, and property management companies, and he provides tax research on complex issues and transactions. Scott also provides representation before IRS and state taxing authorities, and he identifies business and tax planning opportunities for clients to minimize tax liability.
