Benjamin Surratt

Ben joined Boulay in 2014 and has been a senior manager since 2023. Ben provides tax compliance and consulting services to clients operating across a variety of industries including real estate, professional services, manufacturing, and closely held businesses. He prepares and reviews Federal and multi-state partnership, corporate, and individual tax returns and supporting workpapers. Ben maintains basis calculations, tracks Federal and state depreciation records, and supports clients with correspondence between tax authorities and tax planning to minimize income tax liabilities. He is proficient with Microsoft Excel, Adobe PDF, and tax software including CCH, Pro-System FX, BNA Fixed Assets and BNA Tax Planner. Ben also mentors tax department staff and assists with the development of their technical skills.
