Steve Monson

Steve joined Boulay in 2009, and he specializes in providing auditing and accounting services to public and private clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, professional services, technology, software and construction contractors. He plans, conducts, and leads audit and other financial reporting engagements for clients. Steve is well-versed in technical accounting and reporting matters and SEC rules and regulations, including initial public offerings, SPAC transactions and business combinations. In addition, he develops and communicates recommendations for internal control and business best practices. Steve also prepares and reviews financial statements in accordance with GAAP, and he guides clients through technical accounting and reporting standards. His prior experience includes financial reporting and technical research for a regional bank in Chicago.
