Lance R. Madson
Lance joined Boulay in 2005 and became a partner in 2008. He specializes in tax planning and consulting for closely held businesses and individuals, and he has been helping clients minimize their income tax liability with strategic tax planning and preparation for more than 20 years. Lance is involved in multiple aspects of tax compliance for clients in a variety of industries including service, real estate, construction and manufacturing. He assists clients with entity selection and start-up considerations, and he performs business valuations for estates and gifts, buy-sell agreements, business transactions and general planning purposes. He helps clients with business and/or asset purchase and sale transactions by recommending strategies to minimize income tax liability. Lance also provides assistance in correspondence with taxing authorities including audit representation, and he focuses on providing value added service to clients by offering recommendations, including alternate solutions to tax and accounting issues. Prior to joining Boulay, Lance spent 12 years at Carver Moquist & O’Connor, LLC.
Lance enjoys playing hockey, hunting and fishing.
