Erin Basney

Erin joined Boulay in 1998 and was named partner in 2024. As a leader on Boulay’s private equity and search fund tax team, she provides tax consulting, planning and compliance services to entities taxed as corporations and partnerships. Erin assists businesses with tax planning strategies designed to minimize income tax liability, and she leads special projects requiring investigative and analytical skills to determine the best financial and tax outcomes for clients. Erin specializes in Federal and state tax compliance for partnerships, limited liability companies and S Corporations. She researches complex tax issues and presents strategies to clients, and represents clients before the Internal Revenue Service or state taxing authorities.
