Clay Brownlee

Clay joined Boulay in 2016 and was promoted to Partner in 2023. Over the course of his career in public accounting, he has developed extensive experience across a wide range of industries, including retail and distribution, manufacturing, healthcare, professional services, and software and technology. Beginning his career in audit, Clay transitioned to specialize in mergers and acquisitions, focusing on financial due diligence and valuation consulting. He works closely with search funds, private equity firms, family investment offices, and corporate clients to provide data-driven insights that support informed investment decisions and operational analysis. Clay’s expertise lies in identifying key financial drivers, evaluating transaction risks, and delivering actionable recommendations that help clients navigate complex deals and maximize value.
